JB: In the summers when I wasn’t teaching, I helped him plant the vines and run events. He hired me full time two years ago.
MN-UN: Of the wines you produce, which is your favorite & why?
MN-UN: Tell us about a wine or related product you have at Next Chapter?
JB: We make a Cranberry Burst wine that is out most popular wine year around which has become somewhat our signature wine. We’re also working on an ice-wine for this coming spring.
MN-UN: What is something about your business, that you wish more people knew?
JB: How unique Minnesota’s wineries are. Not only are we able to grow grapes in a climate that reaches temperatures below zero, but the winemakers are also constantly helping each other with various wine-making techniques. This industry works like a family, and not like competitive businesses.
MN-UN: What’s the best “bang for your buck” wine or cider (not made by you)?
JB: Millner Heritage Wine
MN-UN: What is your favorite gift/gadget to give, or receive?
JB: Chris’s Stuff Insulated Wine Clutches!
MN-UN: We recommend stopping by Next Chapter Winery for…
