Minneapolis, Minnesota (May 7, 2018) — The Minnesota Cider Guild is celebrating the 8th annual Minnesota Cider Week with a full list of events June 2-9, culminating with the MN Craft Cider Festival on Saturday, June 9, from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at Como Lakeside Pavilion.
Minnesota Cider Week takes place annually the first week of June and is a chance for the state’s cidermakers to show off their flagship and specialty ciders. This year’s Cider Week lineup includes tap features, flights, a cider dinner and brunch, cider tastings and more. Up-to-date information can be found on the website, www.mnciderguild.com.
The grand finale event of the week-long cider celebration is the MN Craft Cider Festival. “This is the largest cider-only tasting event in the state,” says Gretchen Perbix, president of the Minnesota Cider Guild. “It’s an impressive array of cider styles from all over the world.”
Highlights of the MN Craft Cider Festival include unlimited tastings of over 80 ciders from local, national, and international cideries, plus food for purchase from Spring Cafe, Red River Kitchen food truck and Chowgirls Killer Catering. General admission is from 2-5 p.m. and costs $40; VIP admission starts at 1 p.m. and costs $55. Designated driver tickets are available for $5.
