I pulled the last of the fresh herbs from the garden this golden afternoon (thyme, rosemary, parsley) and it made me thirsty for a crisp summer white. 🥂What’s in your glass this (possibly last fair weather) weekend?
This Albariño is sourced from estate vineyards of Lagar D Cervera in Rias Biaxus in the northwest of Spain. Partial malolactic fermentation softens what might otherwise be harsh acidity, and lees contact/stirring (leaving the wine on the spent yeast for some time after fermentation) adds rich texture.
The perfect gateway wine to what will surely soon me winter… bring it on, Minnesota! I picked this one up at @solovinowine over a year ago… for a 2016 it’s still holding strong!
