The acidity in this cold climate wine paired well with salad, standing up well to a vinaigrette. Indian Island Winery’s “Island Smoke” (Janesville, MN) also had a good amount of new oak and a butteriness that went well with the ricotta and pesto. A wine pairing WIN!
A blend of Prairie Star, Louis Swenson, this semi-dry wine is dominated by citrus (lemon) and light hints of pear.
