Wine is life! Linda and Marv Seppanen have long enjoyed traveling and visiting small family wineries. Those travels have taken them to wineries from Florida to Washington and Maine to California, as well as Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Poland, Quebec, Australia, and New Zealand. In particular, they have visited many Midwest wineries as well, from Minnesota to Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska….
MN-UN: How did you get your start in the business?
GHV: We have been growing grapes for 25 years! But, making and selling our own wine for the past 10.

MN-UN: Of the wines you produce, which is your favorite & why?
GHV: Brianna, which is a well-balanced white wine: semi-sweet with hints of apricot, peach, pineapple, and honey. It has a lovely fruity nose. Its excellent enjoyed with fruits & cheeses, or simply by itself.
When you visit Garvin Heights, they also feature locally made cheeses and can help you pair them with wine.
MN-UN: What is your favorite gift/gadget to give, or receive?
GHV: Haley’s Corker 5 in 1 ($7.28), which aerates, pours, filters, re-corks and has a stopper.
