Tasting Notes: 2013 Can Petit Rosado Cava (Trepat) - Minnesota Uncorked™

Tasting Notes: 2013 Can Petit Rosado Cava (Trepat)

A 2013 Cava made from Trepat grapes, one of Spain’s indigenous grape varieties. The grapes in this wine were grown at high elevations in the Pendes Region resulting in a crisp Cava, indeed! Big bubbles in this one. Medium salmon color. Aromas of ripe red currant, hint of violet. Medium bodied with flavors of juicy raspberry/blackberry, ripe strawberry, long sweet finish. A hint of residual sugar balances the high acidity.
