This 2012 Northwoods from Woodland Hill is still going strong: a rustic aroma, not unlike fire-roasted tomato skins, ripe red cherry juice, and baking spice. Medium+ acidity, medium- body and medium- tannin, flavors match the nose. Semi-dry balances the tart acidity. A very approachable, well-balanced wine.
